GENERAL ITINERARY
10:30am Arrival to the site - Disembark coach/transport. Bathrooms are located off the car park so this is bathroom time before entering the park

11am Arrive at WILD, induction, introduced to undercover lunch area & quizzes. Time to explore the zoo until the first show at 12pm
12:00pm Wild Wonders Animal Show
12:20pm Lunch
1:00pm WILD WINGS BIRD SHOW (please do not be late to the shows, they must start on time)
1:30pm Animal handling - another opportunity to look around and do any of the walkthrough exhibits you may not have done yet.
2:00pm Visit to gift shop. Funds raised in our gift shop assist directly with our conservation programmes for critically endangered species. Finally Head back to school.

*Free admission for staff based on ratios below:

1 adult per 3 children for under 5s reception classes

1 adult for every 6 pupils in school years 1 to 3

1 adult for every 15 pupils in school years 4 to 6;

1 adult for every 20 pupils in school year 7 onwards.
*All additional staff chargeable

We are located on the vineyard site itself, entrance at the end of the craft centre path

Toilets are located at the vineyards wine-house and in the restaurant. All within easy access from WILD and includes disabled toilet access.

The vineyard cafe provides hot food available all day,

There are no cash machines on site or at the vineyard, however card is accepted with no minimum charge.

Children can bring pocket money to buy souvenirs from our gift shop

WE ARE ABLE TO TAILOR YOUR VISIT TO A CURRICULUM TOPICS FOR ANY KEY STAGE. Eg: RAINFORESTS, ADAPTATIONS, HABITATS, CLASSIFICATION AND MANY MORE.

WE CAN CATER FROM RECEPTION (4-5YR OLDS) TO SECONDARY SCHOOL AGES. All the way up to higher education levels, Our staff are Bachelor of science degree qualified.

HOME EDUCATORS DAY
We are matching our current school trip offer price per ticket (Children must be supervised all day - adults need their own valid ticket)
The day will begin at 11am - Venture the park, take part in the explorer quiz.
Discover interactice walkthrough habitats.
A presentation and handling workshop called ‘Life In Cold Blood’ featuring our reptiles and mini beasts.
Two demonstrations showcasing our mammals and our birds focusing on adaptations and habitats. The latter featuring our free flight display team in spectacular fashion.
Keeper talks through the day focusing on food chains, rainforests, deserts, life cycles and survival!
The park will be closed to the general public on these select days for exclusive use of the zoo for home educators only. An undercover picnic area will be provided.
Admission is available on the website and must be pre booked. No on the day admissions. Adults also need their own ticket. Tickets are the same price for adults and children (under 2's free)
